Position Overview
Execute DRE activities on one or more projects concurrently Support Root Cause analysis of field issues Manage supplier deviations Support supplier ramp up – DFM Interface with supplier to drive one-time and high-quality deliveries Lead harness topology and partitioning Package components and collaborate with other systems within the application Identify components during the design phase for the wiring harness – connectors, terminals, wire gauges/type, etc. Optimize harness complexity across product lines to leverage standardization & modularity, where possible Complete electrical connectivity design for a battery system including Wire-list and DEF files for composite harness design, Load analysis Review and anticipate voltage drop calculations circuit sizing In-line connector pin count determination and circuit protection Collaborate with Systems Engineers and BMS Hardware Engineers to ensure all internal and customer-specific requirements are met Track and report on program pro...
