Position Overview
SUMMARY: -
POSITION INFO: Minimum Required Qualification: - Level 4: Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate) /National Cert level 4 Certificate GET Education, Training and Development
- Recognised Winding Engine Driver certificate as issued by the DMR
- Onsetter's Certificate
The Appointee should: - Proof must be provided that certificate is still valid and WED has driven a winder in the last 2 years as an appointed WED.
- At least 1-2 years’ experience as a Winding Engine Driver on AC and DC machines or have proof of Competence for newly qualified WED.
- Medically fit to work in the specific business area
- Clear security screening record
- Valid driver’s license (if applicable)
Additional Requirements: - 2-3 years’ experience as an Onsetter will be advantageous
