The Whangārei Art Trust is seeking to appoint a new Trustee to its Board, offering a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the governance of one of Aotearoa New Zealand's most distinctive cultural precincts.

The Trust oversees the Whangārei Art Museum, the Hundertwasser Art Centre, (with Wairau Māori Art Gallery under a separate Trust). Together, these facilities form an internationally significant arts destination, committed to enriching lives through meaningful experiences of art, culture, and nature. The Whangārei Art Trust is a Council Controlled Organisation (CCO) and council appoints the majority of trustees to the board.

Council are seeking an individual with a current or previous strong financial and business acumen, who can bring strategic insight and sound governance expertise to the Board. Experience in one or more of the following areas would be advantageous:
