Responsibilities
Develop and review WPS, PQR, and welding procedure documentation. Support qualification of welders and ensure compliance to approved procedures. Review vendor and fabrication yard welding documents and NDT plans. Monitor welding processes, materials selection, consumables, and heat treatment requirements. Provide technical resolution for weld defects, NCRs, and metallurgical concerns. Liaise with QA/QC, fabrication yards, and NDT contractors to ensure weld integrity.
