Job Summary

Bradford Council’s Department of Place is recruiting x31 Waste Collection Operatives to work as part of a team delivering an efficient and effective waste collection service to around 220,000 properties and 5,000 trade waste customers. The role involves collecting household, industrial and commercial waste and recyclables from locations such as homes, shops and schools, handling various types of containers including sacks, wheeled bins and bulky items, and supporting the driver by safely manoeuvring the vehicle, acting as a lookout when reversing, and assisting with daily vehicle checks.



Working pattern is 37 hrs over 4 days (Tuesday-Friday). 9 hrs and 15 min days with a break starting from 06:45am.



This role is based: Harris Street, Bradford, BD1 5HU.
