**Warehouse Associate $18/hr - 1st Shift**

**Job Description**

The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in preparing, shipping, receiving, and organizing inventory within a clean, well-organized distribution center. This position operates Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and focuses on ensuring accurate, efficient, and safe movement of goods using a variety of warehouse equipment and tools.

**Responsibilities**

+ Prepare shipments for postal or commercial carriers by determining the most economical and efficient shipping method and selecting appropriate shipping containers.
+ Pack items securely to ensure safe delivery and prevent damage during transit.
+ Prepare bills of lading and verify that items to be shipped match work orders, including quantities, destinations, and routing.
+ Receive and unload incoming materials and compare packing slips with purchase orders to verify the accuracy of shipments.
