An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Unit Manager to provide operational and clinical leadership across the Acute Medical Unit (AMU) and the newly developed Medical Assessment Centre (MAC) at Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital.

The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day management of both areas, ensuring the delivery of safe, personal and effective care in line with Trust policies and national standards. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, the role will support patient flow, service delivery, and continuous quality improvement.

The Unit Manager will provide visible leadership to nursing and support staff, ensuring appropriate staffing, skill mix, and a positive team culture within a dynamic acute environment.
