Duties Take the diet slip to the main kitchen, transport food trolleys from the food service unit to the wards vice versa. Serve meals and tea to patients under supervision of nursing staff, submit containers to the main kitchen, keep the kitchen clean and tidy, wash dishes in the ward. Do damp-dusting of ward equipment, take unsterile equipment to CSSD, fetch sterile packs from CSSD and pack in relevant cupboards. Receive, count and pack clean ward linen. Count, sort and pack dirty/ soiled linen in linen bags. Label and tie dirty linen bags and place at relevant area, keep the sluice room equipment clean.
