Duties

• Take the diet slip to the main kitchen, transport food trolleys from the food service unit to the wards vice versa.
• Serve meals and tea to patients under supervision of nursing staff, submit containers to the main kitchen, keep the kitchen clean and tidy, wash dishes in the ward.
• Do damp-dusting of ward equipment, take unsterile equipment to CSSD, fetch sterile packs from CSSD and pack in relevant cupboards.
• Receive, count and pack clean ward linen. Count, sort and pack dirty/ soiled linen in linen bags.
• Label and tie dirty linen bags and place at relevant area, keep the sluice room equipment clean.
