The Role
As a Chef de Rang, you will:
- Oversee a section of the dining room, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Greet guests and provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
- Take orders and provide detailed information about menu items and specials.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and other staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in your section.
- Uphold the hotel's policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
