Our client is a large and well-established pre-owned vehicle dealer located in Melbourne’s inner city suburbs. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Car Buyer to join their acquisition team. This role will see you sourcing and purchasing quality used vehicles across a broad range of market segments, including volume, prestige, exotic and commercial vehicles. You will be identifying opportunities through wholesale networks, auctions, dealer contacts and trade channels, then negotiating purchases that make strong commercial sense for the business. You will be responsible for accurately appraising vehicles, assessing market demand, understanding likely reconditioning requirements and ensuring stock is acquired at the right price.
