Position Overview
The Valuation Control Intermediate Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for contributing to the Independent Price Verification, Valuation Adjustment and Fair Value Hierarchy processes. Responsibilities include:
Solve valuation issues under little to no supervision, including complex problems
Apply in-depth knowledge of industry standards and practices to daily tasks
Identify process gaps and control issues
Analyse situations and data utilizing data analysis tools and methodologies
Select the best pre-defined procedure to resolve issues and seek guidance when necessary
Follow and maintain accurate and complete procedure notes and associated maker checker responsibilities.
Escalate anomalies and issues in an efficient and timely manner
Interpret data, identify inconsistencies through research and recommend solutions based on analysis
Develop knowledge of how team interacts with others to accomplish Valuation Control goals
