System Applications Engineer

This position is located in Chandler, AZ or San Jose, CA. It is a hybrid role with 3 days in office and 2 days work from home weekly. This position is NOT open to 100% remote.

Job Responsibility:

Provide system‑level application support for products implementing USB 2.0/3.x/4, USB Type‑C, USB Power Delivery, and DisplayPort (DP and DP Alt Mode).

Act as a technical interface for customers, supporting design‑in activities, architectural discussions, schematic reviews, and system bring‑up.

Debug and resolve system‑level issues related to signal integrity, power delivery negotiation, interoperability, firmware interaction, and standards compliance.

Support USB Type‑C and Power Delivery architectures, including Source/Sink, DRP, PPS, EPR, cable considerations, and protection schemes.
