About The Role

Our Undermanager’s support our Underground Mining Operations by providing leadership and direction to our vital underground shift crews in all planned mining activities. This important role is accountable for the execution of the daily and weekly plans as dictated by the planning team, in addition to, ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental obligations pertaining to mining activities on the Undermanager’s allocated shift.

Paid accommodation, whilst working the allocated roster, will be supplied to the successful incumbent of this role. This role may be worked on a DIDO/ Residential basis. 

What You’ll Do

• Use your initiative to clarify your tasks, initiate improvements and work with minimal supervision and in a coordinated manner with your peers.
• Ensure 24-hour plans are distributed and communicated to all relevant parties on shift.
