Summary:
Produces ultrasonic images of the breast for use by physicians in the diagnosis of disease; performs screening and diagnostic breast ultrasound exams as requested; assists radiologist in biopsies, seed localizations, aspirations and other studies as needed; maintains exam room supplies. The pay for this position is $40.18 hourly.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience
1. License to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of New York, an Associate’s degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience as an Ultrasound Technologist; or
2. Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and certified by an accredited institution as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
