Trust Medical Secretary - Thoracic Surgery

This is an exciting opportunity to join the General Surgery Department. We are recruiting a Medical Secretary to join an established team within Thoracic Surgery, working alongside administrative, medical and nursing teams. The role will support Thoracic nurses and Thoracic surgeons with their day-to-day management of clinics, theatres and provide an effective administration service.

The successful candidate will be expected to have excellent communication and organisational skills, a capacity to manage and prioritise workloads, and recent medical secretarial/administration experience. A high level of attention to detail and accuracy, an understanding of patient confidentiality, and experience with in‑house IT systems are essential.
