Role Summary

Royal Devon University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Eastern Services are seeking to appoint 1 Trust Doctor in Intensive Care Medicine, with commencement date of August 6. The tenure of this post is months with the possibility of extension depending upon service need. The post does not attract a National Training Number.

The post is based within the existing critical care teams with access to departmental teaching and other developmental opportunities. Despite not being recognised as ‘training post’ it allows doctors to improve the breadth and depth of their experience in Intensive Care Medicine.

Full registration with the GMC with a licence to practise is required.

The Eastern critical care services comprise a -bed unit (funded for patients) providing Level 2 and 3 care for both the elective and emergency medical and surgical services. Specialist services include plastics, maxillofacial, gynae-oncology, urology, vascular, interven...
