Role Overview

The role of the Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care department is to facilitate a safe, person-centred and confidential service of spiritual and religious care that enables patients, their families and friends and members of staff to explore and negotiate their experience of life, illness, injury, loss or stress so that they can begin to find strength, support and meaning within it.

Key Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for the spiritual, pastoral and faith care needs of patients and staff within Epsom & St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust, and be a collaborative member of the chaplaincy team in delivering person-centred spiritual and pastoral care to all patients, visitors and staff, irrespective of their religion or belief.
