- Demonstrates knowledge of procedures by anticipating needs prior and during each case (e.g., assists with dressings and/or cast application at the end of the procedure).
- Picks cases following physician preference card.
- Consistently fulfills commitments for additional responsibilities without requiring direction.
- Signs count before patient leaves or room; counts with relief person when appropriate.
- Counts towel clips, Allis, and Ednas per procedure; accountable for complete instrumental trays.
- Reports any exceptions and updates surgeon preference card per entity specific processes.
- Complies with all count policies and procedures.
