The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive trauma care and perform emergency surgeries, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Trauma Program:
- 590-bed Acute Care Facility
- Level I Trauma Center (ACS & State Verified)
- Hybrid OR (16 surgical suites, includes 1 designated for trauma)
- 32 bed open ICU (16 surg + 16 medical)
- HCA hospital network of 5 hospitals funnels into Research MC
- Trauma activations avg 3000/ yr (20% penetrating)
- General Surgery Residency with teaching opportunities
- Clinical Research opportunities
