The City of Watertown has an immediate opening within the Planning Department. The Transportation Planner is a new competitive civil service position for the City. The Transportation Planner is responsible for coordinating and advancing a customer-focused, community-based mobility strategy that improves access to mobility services and travel options for seniors, individuals with disabilities, veterans, and low-income residents within the City and surrounding Small Urbanized Area. This is a highly customer-facing position requiring frequent direct interaction with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with varying mobility, communication, and access needs.
