Training Programme Director – Surgery Trauma and Orthopaedics

An outstanding individual is sought to fulfil the role of Training Programme Director - Surgery Trauma and Orthopaedics.

The post will be available on a secondment arrangement to NHS England, remunerated by Education Management Contribution (EMC) in line with TPD sessional payments. £10,000 per PA - 2PA (8 hours per week).

All work undertaken is incorporated into the Consultant Job Plan. The role is to work and support the Head of School in leading the delivery of a wide range of functions aligned to the NHS England mandate.

The Training Programme Director is professionally and managerially accountable to the Head of School, focusing on improvement of learner supervision, assessment and experience, engagement of faculty, and ensuring effective educational outcomes.
