**Job Summary**
Mechanics are responsible for providing quality, timely, and cost-effective repair and general maintenance for fleet vehicles including tractors, trailers, forklifts, convertor dollies, and other equipment that requires preventable maintenance, general repairs, modification and troubleshooting.
**Key Responsibilities**

+ Perform preventive maintenance and routine maintenance on Company fleet equipment.
+ Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or other failures to tractors, trailers, forklifts or other equipment.
+ Use of forklift, dolly, man-lift, vehicle hoist, hydraulic jacks, welding equipment, and other shop equipment.
+ Properly complete work orders and related documentation within the Company's maintenance tracking software.
+ Communicate effectively with both drivers and Managers to gather information needed to complete repairs and maintenance.
+ Tests equipment after repairs are completed to ensure they're functioning as expected.
