The department is responsible for planning, repairing, certifying, and providing technical support for tools required for the MRO business.
Responsibilities
Analyze past demand and liaise with stakeholders to calculate the forecast for future tool demandsCalculate safety stock and lot size for tool warehousesAnalyze and define models to decide when tools shall be centralized in the main warehouse vs decentralized in site warehousesDefine a model to calculate the ratio of tools per megawatt depending on turbine platform, contract scope, etc.Inventory management, such as balancing of surplus, performing investigations for major stock deviation, etc.Follow up on open orders with the buying tea...
