Job Summary Support the implementation of a tooling asset management system and process. Partner with Global Business Units, engineering, sourcing, and PG&A to efficiently use Polaris assets and maximize the value of tool life. Support the business process for tooling asset management across all GBUs.
Duties and Responsibilities - Support the overall Business Process Owner for Tool Asset Management for a highly matrixed organization with multiple functional swim lanes.
- Daily interaction with assigned suppliers to collect tool condition reports for upload into asset management system.
- Ensure compliance to data inputs and integrity with external suppliers (75%) and Polaris manufacturing plants (25%).
- Actively support budget, forecast and spending of sourced component refurbishment and capacity tooling needs for assigned suppliers.
