TOOL & DIE MAKER KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

•   (Minimum education, training, skills and experience) Must be able to safely operate various machine tools; set-up and trouble-shooting skills required.  Shop equipment includes milling machines, lathes, saws, drill press, grinding equipment etc.  Must be able to perform inspection functions utilizing inspection and measuring equipment (such as calipers, micrometers, depth mics, drop indicators, pin gages, thread gages, profilometers, and functional gages).  Ability to use CMMs or optical comparator required.  Must be able to build, assemble, and trouble shoot production progressive tooling with available customer requirements.
