Vacancy Announcement   TESTING FOR POLICE OFFICER Starting Salary:

• $60,000 The Fredericksburg Police Department will administer the written and physical agility tests for the position of full-time police officer on the following date: Saturday March 14 th 2026 at 8.00am  Saturday April 11 th 2026 at 8.00am  Saturday May 9 th  2026 at 8.00am  You are not permitted to attend testing unless your registration is confirmed.


• Register for testing by contacting Sgt.
• Velasco and providing your name, address and telephone number.  If you are hired, you will attend the April 2026 or July 2026 Law Enforcement Basic class at the Rappahannock Regional Criminal Justice Academy.  Testing for candidates can also form an eligibility list for future vacancies.
• Day of Testing Be punctual.   You will not be accepted after the scheduled testing time.
