Tenure‑Track Assistant Professor in Philosophy

The University of Copenhagen seeks a visionary and team‑oriented assistant professor to commence 1 February 2027, or as soon as possible thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and publish peer‑reviewed work, disseminating results to the scientific community and the public.
• Develop, organise and deliver research‑based teaching in theoretical, practical or history of philosophy, with emphasis on German or French philosophy after 1900.
• Explore societal perspectives of research, including innovation and public engagement.
• Contribute to an active academic environment through seminars, reading groups, and collegial events.
• Apply for and manage external funding and promote diversity and a positive working environment.
• Complete a teacher‑training course and participate in departmental examinations and administration.

Qualifications
