Various temporary assignments in Ambleside and surrounding areas for Relief Chefs.

We are seeking flexible chefs who can work in a variety of properties, sometimes at short notice. You may be working from Chef de Partie to Head Chef level, depending on your skills and the requirements of the property.

We have several care home contracts in this region that require Relief Chefs with DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks to work in their kitchens. There is regular work available with a number of the homes.

Requirements:

1. Chefs who have worked to at least Sous Chef level.
2. Excellent all-round cooking skills capable of jumping on any section.
3. Experience in fast-paced kitchens using all fresh produce.
4. DBS checks are required, or a willingness to obtain one.

It is not essential to have your own transport, but it is advantageous.
