Position Description

A temporary full‑time (1.0) Grade 7/Social Studies 9/English 9/Tag Teacher is required by School District No. 60 (Peace River North) effective September 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027. The assignment will be at Dr. Kearney Middle School.

Dr. Kearney Middle School is a vibrant middle school offering classes in grades 7‑9. We enroll a diverse student population of 600, 25 % of whom are of Indigenous descent. The school has an active Parent Advisory Committee and a supportive parent community, and offers exciting opportunities such as visual and performing arts programs, Hockey Academy, and a range of extracurricular activities including volleyball, basketball, cross‑country running and track and field.
