Job Description: Telematics Engineer

Location: Plano, Texas

Primary

• Experience in automotive Telematics ECU / Connected Car

• Deep Automotive Domain knowledge.

• Strong hands‑on experience with Telematics Specifications, Architecture and Design.

• Deep knowledge of Telematics Platform services preferably on Life Cycle Manager/Power Manager, Health Manager etc.

• Deep knowledge on Automotive communication protocols on Mqtt, CAN and Automotive Ethernet.

• Experience working with OEMs or Tier‑1 suppliers.

• Excellent technical writing and stakeholder communication skills

Preferred

• Experience with Japanese OEMs

• Knowledge of understanding the Linux platform capabilities to reuse and design the Telematics platform services.

• Knowledge of eCall / ERA‑GLONASS / UNECE R155/R156

• Familiarity with requirements tools (Jama, DOORS, Polarion)
