CMC are supporting a leading engineering organisation in the aerospace sector and are looking for an experienced Technical Author to support the development of critical maintenance documentation for advanced products.
You’ll be working on a high-priority programme focused on delivering Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs) in line with iSpec 2200 standards, supporting both ongoing and upcoming product releases.
This project can be completed remotely and will fall inside of IR35. This will be a 12 month project.
Interpreting engineering drawings, CAD data, and source analysis
Supporting Illustrated Parts Lists (IPL) and generating technical illustrations
Strong background in technical authoring within aerospace, aviation, or defence
Ability to confidently interpret engineering drawings and technical data
Understanding of Simplified Technical English (STE)
