Position Overview
About the job Technical Purchaser (Diving) - Able to comprehend the machinery's part book (primary engine, generator, pump, gearbox).
- Capable of understanding and interpreting crew and mechanics requirements.
- Responsible for the whole procurement procedure, including issue PO & delivery arrangements, obtain quotations, and requisitions.
- Negotiate and create a friendly working relationship with the suppliers/vendors>
- Construct and maintain stock take and inventory control of materials/parts issued to vessels.
- Communicate with the operations team and crew about requisitions related matter.
- Confirm supplier/vendor invoices contrary to quotations & maintain track expenditure.
- Able to confirm received items with ordered items.
- Makes certain that supplies are delivered on schedule.
- Answerable for precaution of records and follow-up of all purchased items.
