Our client is seeking a Technical Assistant to join the Newton Park team,

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with installation, servicing, and repair of equipment and machinery
• Prepare tools, materials, and equipment required for technical work
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area in line with OHS standards
• Record maintenance work completed and report technical issues to supervisors
• Assist with breakdown support and emergency repairs when required
• Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards
• Support stock control of spare parts and tools

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Technical certificate or vocational training (mechanical, electrical, or related field) – advantageous
• 1–3 years’ experience in a technical, maintenance, or assistant role
