Job Description

A specialist school in the Wirral area is seeking a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and challenging behaviour.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people who require additional support both academically and emotionally.

The Role

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
  • Helping pupils regulate emotions and behaviour in line with school policies
  • Building positive relationships and promoting a safe, supportive learning environment
  • Supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs
