Teaching Assistant

Required for: September 2026.

The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a motivated, independent and hardworking individual to fill the post of Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate must demonstrate a proactive interest in education and a desire to support the school in achieving the best possible outcomes for all pupils.

Cardinal Newman School is an 11-16 mixed Voluntary Aided school, with 957 pupils currently on roll. The school is over-subscribed. The school has an excellent reputation for both our academic results and our pastoral care. The school regularly outperforms other schools in the local authorities that we serve. We annually achieve 400+ Average Capped Nine points and at least 75%of our pupils achieve five GCSEs including Maths and English.
