Radyr Comprehensive School is seeking a dedicated and highly organised Teaching Assistant. This is a rewarding role for an individual who is committed to inclusive practice and ensuring all learners can access the curriculum effectively. 31 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only), 1-year temporary contract in the first instance.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with pupils and their parents/carers to develop and maintain effective systems for accessing modified materials.
• Support the implementation of tailored approaches to learning, ensuring resources meet individual needs.
• Communicate effectively with staff across the school to ensure that pupils consistently have access to appropriate and timely resources.
• Manage workload efficiently, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines to ensure effective delivery of support.
• Support some key pupils during specific lessons where practical support is crucial.
