Overview


TheTax Associateposition is responsible for handling sales tax related tasks.
Pay Rate: $22-25/hr
This is a hybrid position;candidates should be located near Wilmington, NC and able to work in the office approximately three days per week to support in-office responsibilities.


Responsibilities


+ Prepare excise and sales and use tax related forms as assigned

+ Process and mail all required paper tax filings

+ Record tax payments and other related activity in accounting system

+ Complete manual online tax submissions

+ Assist with compiling audit documentation as needed

+ Communicate frequently with management team, field operations, Regulatory Agencies, vendors, suppliers and other necessary outside organizations in respect to assigned areas
