Tax Analyst Co-op
Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada or Markham, Ontario, Canada.
Co-op term: August 2026 – April 2027.
Full-time requirement: 37.5 hours per week.
Purpose
As a Co-op student working in the Canadian Country Tax Centre, you will partner with business partners across all Canadian Johnson & Johnson operating companies on income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax matters.
Major Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of annual T2 corporate income tax returns, T106 information returns, and non-resident withholding tax returns.
- Prepare monthly sales tax returns for GST/HST, QST, and PST.
- Maintain non-resident payments subject to withholding tax and make required remittances.
- Analyze tax balance sheet accounts and prepare quarterly reconciliations.
- Implement system changes for sales tax initiatives such as tax code changes and new product introductions.
