0.80 FTE Grade 12 Online Learning Teacher: Chemistry, Anatomy & Physiology (Temporary)

Role Description

NIDES teachers guide successful learning by providing personalized, online courses using diverse instructional technology. The teacher works online and on‑site at a Comox Valley School, teaching province‑wide students and supporting blended instruction in classrooms, learning centers, and tutorials.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging online chemistry and anatomy & physiology curriculum for secondary students.
• Create and maintain online learning materials in Brightspace, Zoom, or Teams.
• Manage an online classroom and implement assessment for learning practices.
• Support students through tutorials, adapt courses for individual needs and I.E.P.s.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school staff to promote student success.

Qualifications
