AWS has launched the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC) and seeks experienced systems engineers with expertise in automation and operations to join the AWS Managed Operations team. You will build, operate and evolve services such as EC2, S3, Dynamo, Lambda, and Bedrock for EU customers.
Key responsibilities include:
Oversee ongoing operations and expansion of the ESC and work closely with global AWS teams.
Collaborate with technology leaders to enhance day‑to‑day operations and improve availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency.
Participate in on‑call rotations to resolve incidents outside regular hours.
