Position Purpose:

INTEC System Engineer: The Idaho Nuclear Technology and Engineer Center (INTEC) plays a key role in the DOE-EM mission to store nuclear fuel and plan for the future of used nuclear fuel storage, processing, and shipping. System Engineering has the responsibility to maintain existing nuclear facilities, plan future used nuclear fuel projects, maintain design requirements and nuclear safety compliance, and provide engineering support for the on-going mission. 

Assigned to Structures, Systems and Components (SSCs) and Used Nuclear Fuel (UNF) projects. Support the safe storage and packaging of Used Nuclear Fuel for the present and the future of Nuclear Energy. Involved in projects...
