Plan and deliver high-quality swimming lessons for children aged 4–7 (Reception to Year 2)Assess pupils’ swimming ability and monitor their progress over timeAdapt teaching to support a range of abilities and confidence levelsDevelop children’s water confidence, stroke technique and understanding of water safetyEnsure all sessions are conducted in line with current safety regulations, safeguarding procedures and recommended pool ratiosMaintain a safe, organised and hazard-free pool environmentWork collaboratively with school staff to ensure the smooth running of sessionsBe available to communicate with parents informally, where appropriate, regarding pupil progressPERSON SPECIFICATION
