Swim Teachers - No Experience Needed!

Position Overview

The Role

The Learn To Swim Instructor provides swimming lessons to groups, schools, and individuals within swimming program guidelines in a safe, fun and educational environment in which students progressively learn to swim.

No experience required! All training provided at Portland Leisure and Aquatic Centre prior to season commencement in December 2024.

No qualifications required, we will put you through training!

Skills & Attributes:

  • Energetic, innovative and decisive teaching style
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends and must be empathetic to the needs of the classes
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
