Position Overview
Job Description
- Undertake Property inspections – site inspections comprise taking site notes, noting construction specification, building services, fixtures and finishes, as well as external works; taking evidential photos; taking full site measurements or check measurements of buildings and external areas, to relate back to floor plans.
- Undertaking Measurement – we place great importance on measuring accurate Gross internal Areas for every property we assess. This will involve using digital measurement software such as CostX.
- Pricing – the requirement is to build up an assessment to provide a figure which will be the cost of reinstatement for the entire premises, in their present form, making allowance for any additional work required such as site clearance (including removal of hazardous materials), temporary works to ensure safety of the public and any adjoining buildings, prescribed fees, party walls and professional fees in line with the RICS...
