Survey Technician

Nelson + Pope is seeking a qualified Survey Technician to work in our Melville, New York office for an immediate start. The work includes boundary, topographic, hydrographic, point cloud, as-builts, construction layout , etc. The work will be for municipalities, land developers, contractors, builders, etc.

Responsibilities/Top Skills/Qualifications:

• autocad / civil3d; carlson survey; microstation; trimble business center
• process field data
• records research
• microsoft office
• associates degree in land surveying or similar
• 0 to 3 years experience
• good verbal communication, written communication, and organizational skills
