Seeking interest for potential Surgical Registrar positions for second‑half 2026 . Surgery Allocations are across Wellington and Hutt Hospitals.

• Most likely initial allocations of General Surgery, Orthopaedics and Relief – should be open to all subspecialties.
• Rotations are 6‑monthly.

The Wellington Region Surgery RMO positions are rotational across multiple hospitals, including Wellington Regional, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa (Masterton) Hospitals, meaning you may rotate to any of these sites during your time with us.

The Wellington Region offers runs in General Surgery (Colorectal, Endocrine, Breast and Upper‑Gastrointestinal), Vascular, Paediatric Surgery, Cardiothoracic, Neurosurgery, Urology, Otolaryngology, Orthopaedics and Plastics.
