Position Overview
Join our collaborative Surgical Critical Care team at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, where you'll work side-by-side with experienced Trauma Surgeons and fellow APPs to deliver exceptional ICU, Trauma, General Surgery, and Acute Care Surgery.
Opportunity Highlights :
* Provide comprehensive care for patients in the surgical ICU under physician supervision.
* Performing daily critical care ICU assessments, developing and implementing clinical management plans.
* Manage ventilator, hemodynamics, sedation, analgesia and nutrition.
* Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and care coordination.
* Perform bedside procedures including (as credentialed): central venous catheter placement, arterial line placement, chest tube insertion, bronchoscopy assistance, assistance with bedside percutaneous tracheostomy and percutaneous gastrostomy tube placement.
* Manage trauma and emergency surgical admissions in the ICU.
