263 bed facility in Dubuque, Iowa has an ongoing need for a cardiac surgeon beginning in November. Board eligible within two years welcome to apply.

• REQUIREMENTS: Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (under 2 years) in Cardiothoracic or Cardiovascular Surgery; must have BLS certification.

• LICENSING REQUIREMENT: Candidates that ALREADY possess an ACTIVE Iowa License is HIGHLY preferred due to the timeline. IMLC LOQ in hand a must. Those that do not hold an active license or the LOQ will be rejected.

• SCHEDULE: Scheduled consists of office hours on Monday-Thursday 8a-5p and Friday 8a-4p (these hours are for both the surgeon and NP, so the surgeon may not be in the office during all these hours). Need 1-2 weeks per month of consistent coverage. Call will be required, but the schedule will vary to include weeknights and weekends.
