Support Worker – Daytime Role


Location: Dargaville| Part-Time (Daytime Hours)


Geneva Healthcare is seeking a caring and motivated Daytime Support Worker to support a 34-year-old young man with community and home-based activities in Dargaville.


About the Role


You’ll provide one-on-one support, helping the client enjoy an active and fulfilling lifestyle both at home and in the community.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting community outings such as gym sessions, shopping, movies, and crafts

  • Assisting with home-based activities and daily tasks like personal cares, meal preparation, medication support & general home management tasks

  • Driving a disability hoist van to community activities

  • Providing companionship and encouragement

    • All required training will be provided
